International Teachers Plus - ESL Language School Instructors
International Teachers Plus (ITP) is a teacher placement agency offering full recruitment services and a wide variety of international teaching jobs at reputable international schools. On behalf of a language school in Bahrain, they are looking for ESL instructors to teach with objectives specific for teaching ESL at all levels.About the position
Location: Bahrain Contract period: 15 months contract initially (includes 3 month probation) - renewable 1 year contract afterwards. Students: Students range from children to adults. They also have Corporate accounts where the teacher would go to a workplace to conduct ESL teaching. Schedule: Required up to 40 hours a week of teaching. Teacher is only required to be at Teaching Venue for actual teaching hours. Usually around 30 hours of teaching per week. Responsibilities: Instruct through lectures, discussions, and demonstrations. Use computers, audiovisual aids, and other equipment and materials to supplement presentations. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the varying needs and interests of students. - Monthly salary range: Tax free monthly basic salary of BHD 700 - 800 ($1855 - $2120) depending on qualifications and experience.
- Housing: Housing allowance of BHD 200 ($530 USD) monthly (Rent is not expensive in Bahrain) Company will help with finding accommodation.
- Transport allowance: BHD 75 ($200 USD) per month (This covers half of monthly car rental) as there is no public transportation.
- Health insurance coverage: Medical Insurance is free in Bahrain once candidates receive their Residence Visa.
- Annual air tickets: Incoming airfare Ticket will be reimbursed after the 3 months probation period is over. Outgoing airfare Ticket after the completion of contract will be paid in full to the candidate destination.

- Visa & medical check fees: Candidates travel on a Visit Visa paid by school and then it is converted to a Residence Visa.
- End of service benefit: End of Service payment of 1 month Basic Salary for each year worked when leaving the country.
- One week training upon arrival in Bahrain in Berlitz methodology.
- Salary begins after the successful completion of training and when teaching begins.
Requirement
- Bachelor Degree Required in English, Languages, Second Language Teaching.
- ESL Certification preferred.
- Must have excellent English communication skills.
- Must have a Driving License (teachers may need to rent a car to get around to different teaching venues) Public transportation is not reliable (Allowance of BHD 75 ($200) is provided for this and covers half of the rental fee. Some teachers share the cost of a car rental.
- Single candidates preferred as there are no benefits for dependents.
- Minimum 1 year Teaching experience required.
