At this moment in time, payments can only be made through a credit/debit card or PayPal.

Payment cannot be made through bank transfer, Western Union, or other over-the-counter payment options.

What can you do if you’d like to enroll but don’t have any of the accepted payment options?

  1. If you currently do not have one of the available payment methods, then you might need to find a friend or relative that can help you to purchase the course. They can complete the checkout for you, and after they finish the account can be updated to match your details.   2. Alternatively, you could look into registering a PayPal account. It’s free to do, and you can link your local bank to your PayPal account and transfer funds there to purchase with.

Why are bank transfers and Western Union not accepted?

At World TESOL Academy we aim to make thorough training as affordable as possible. With credit/debit and PayPal, the payments are secure and instant. This means we can automatically set up your account and then get you started with the course.

With bank transfers and other options, it requires on average 1-2 hour of support time to resolve each purchase.

We would need to first collect your name/email address details, then manually check the bank transactions each day to see if you’ve made the transaction and if we could locate it. If the transaction comes from a different name it could be lost. If the transaction comes in a different amount/currency then we would need to return it and contact you to try again. If we can find the right amount and person in the daily transactions, then an account would need to be manually set up.

All of this makes these payment options very unreliable, slow, and expensive to process.
