HMI Recruitment is an education technology and consulting company based in Hangzhou, China. They specialise in connecting qualified international teachers with verified schools across China, including kindergartens, bilingual schools, K–12 schools, and international schools.

They are now looking for more qualified English teachers.

About the position

🏙 Living in Nantong: A clean, safe coastal city with a lower cost of living than Shanghai and most major tier-1 cities, offering a relaxed lifestyle while still being well connected to major cities.

• Location: Nantong, Jiangsu — China
• Students: Aged 3–6 years old
• Class size: 20–25 students per class
• You will not manage the class alone
• Full-time Chinese co-teacher and classroom nanny (ayi) provided
• Focus on English immersion, classroom routines, and child development, not exam-oriented teaching

📌 Start Date & Vacancies:

• Start Date: Aug 2026
• Openings: 2 positions

⏰ Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead English immersion activities for kindergarten students
• Plan fun, age-appropriate lessons and classroom activities
• Support classroom management with Chinese co-teachers
• Track student progress and share feedback with parents
• Join school events and collaborative teaching activities

Requirements

🎓 This role is best suited for experienced kindergarten teachers.

• Native English speaker
• Bachelor’s degree or above
• TEFL / TESOL / CELTA / PGCE certification
• Previous teaching experience with children aged 2–6
• Comfortable working in a structured kindergarten environment
