  • Program Duration: August 3rd to December 20th, 2026 (18 weeks)

Important note: The practicum requires consistent attendance. Missing 3 unexcused sessions without rescheduling will result in removal from the program and disqualification for future rounds.

In this questionnaire, you’ll submit more details regarding your availability (when you can teach), language proficiency, and class preferences.

After this, wait for Paper Airplanes’ decision.

Paper Airplanes will review all of your details and decide on your application within two weeks.

If you make it through this step, Paper Airplanes will send you a conditional acceptance email with links to a self-paced online tutor training module, which will help you prepare for the practicum. You must complete this training to get matched with a student.

Make sure to check your inbox and spam/junk folders over the next two weeks for any emails.

Getting your student and securing your practicum seat.

After completing the tutor training, Paper Airplanes will send you a welcome email, which will contain your Tutor ID and details about the student you have been matched with.

Only teachers who have completed the full semester and submitted their final assignment will be eligible to receive their practicum certificate.
