Dame tu Lengua is now inviting English language teachers or TEFL/TESOL certificate holders to join their program for 1 academic year in Colombia.
About this position
Dame tu Lengua invites citizens from different nations and social contexts to learn languages creatively and functionally. They bestow their learners with the means to fulfil their wishes to study abroad, have the job they want and/or communicate and interact with people from other cultures whilst broadening their scope in life and promoting positive socio-cultural transformation. Their team is made up of people from different countries, thus reflecting a collective and intercultural effort.
Location: Bogata, Colombia
Start date: They’re aiming to welcome 2 to 3 teachers by August/September 2025.
Contract length: Spend 1 year in Bogota, Colombia gaining international teaching experience while exploring a rich and vibrant culture!
Student ages: 18+
This is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Complete a teaching practicum or gain valuable experience abroad
- Teach 15 hours per week – a mix of English classes and cultural activities
- Receive a paid stipend and legal work visa
- Learn Spanish with optional language classes
- Immerse yourself in the Colombian culture and connect with local communities

Requirements
- Training in teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/DELTA or similar)
- Willingness to relocate to Bogota, Colombia for 1 year
