Power English – Public School English Teacher in Vietnam
Established in 2014, Power English has been working in partnership with multiple public schools in Ho Chi Minh City to provide high-quality English lessons taught by qualified teachers. We have solidified our position as one of the leading English centers for learners of various ages in the city. Power English is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated part-time English Teachers for the upcoming school year, scheduled to commence in early September 2025. We warmly welcome teachers who are currently living in Vietnam, as well as those from beyond our borders.About the position
Location: Ho Chi Minh City — Vietnam Job type: By collaborating with Power English, teachers will be assigned to teach at a stable public school carefully chosen based on their preferences regarding location, student age group, classroom facilities, and total teaching hours. Teaching schedule: With daytime teaching from Monday to Friday and minimal administrative work, teachers will have ample free time to explore the beauty of Ho Chi Minh City and pursue their other passions. Intended start date: 05/09/2025 Student ages: 6-18 Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons to students.
- Evaluate students' class work, projects, and assignments.
- Collaborate with schoolteachers and Power English staff to meet the course standards.
- Participate in school activities and events.

Requirements
What are the requirements to become a power English teacher?- Native-level proficiency in English.
- University/Master's degree (major in Education/English preferred).
- Teaching certificate (TESOL/CELTA/TEFL or equivalent).
- English certificate (IELTS 7.5+ /TOEIC 850+ or equivalent).
- A clean criminal record certificate.
- Experience in teaching at public schools is a plus.
- Ability to utilize a wide array of resources to create engaging learning experiences.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
