About the position

Location: They are seeking skilled Native English teachers to fill the following positions:

Students: Learners range from absolute beginner to advanced. Class types: They focus on three types of programs: adult clients, children’s programs, and corporate programs. Adults study General English, Conversation, or preparation courses for TOEIC, IELTS, and TOEFL exams. Class size: Classes are of a standard size and have a maximum of 12 students, though the current average is 6-8 students.

• 390 – 450 baht per hour for inside work,
• 500 – 600 baht per hour for outside corporate work.
• Many outside contracts have a travel allowance. This increases every twelve months for teachers meeting requirements.

Teachers may choose what level of work they are willing to accept. Full-time position:

About the position

Location: Al Yamamah University (Riyadh & Al Khobar), Mohammed Alkhudair School for the Gifted and Talented (MKSGT), and Mohammed Alkhudair Technical and Vocational Training College (MKTVTC) – Qassim, Saudi Arabia

• Riyadh & Al Khobar: Al Yamamah University (YU) in Riyadh and Al Khobar offers programs in Business Administration, Architecture & Engineering, and Law as well as Executive MBA, master’s degrees in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, and Business Law. English being the medium of instruction, INTERLINK International Institutes provides an intensive foundation-year English language program to prepare students for academic studies at the University. Both YU and INTERLINK are widely recognized for their focus on transformative education among employers and government agencies.
• Qassim: In Qassim, INTERLINK supports high-achieving students at MKSGT, a selective high school for gifted and talented learners preparing for studies at highly selective global universities, and at MKTVTC, where students are trained for direct entry into the workforce. In both institutions, INTERLINK provides intensive English instruction and academic orientation grounded in transformative, project-based learning.

Responsibilities — Full-time instructors are expected to:

• Teach in all skill areas (20-24 contact hours per week)
• Work on curriculum review and communicate with the INTERLINK leadership team on a regular basis
• Participate in weekly staff meetings and student/program activities, including periodic professional training, student orientation, placement testing, and related tasks, always being mindful of student/client success and satisfaction
• Participate in meetings (with students, peers, parents, and others)
• Do student-advising, record-keeping, and report-writing
• Keep office hours for advising and counseling students
• Serve on committees and participate in on- and off-campus activities

Benefits

• Initial starting salary of $39,000 – $44,000 per annum

Requirements

• A genuine commitment to the humanistic teaching philosophy espoused by INTERLINK
• A master’s degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, TEFL, or in a related field with a CELTA/DELTA OR TEFL Certificate (120 hrs) from an accredited institution
• Familiarity with recent, learner-centered approaches to language acquisition
• Superior communication skills – both in speaking and writing
• Two or more years of relevant ESL/EFL teaching experience with adult learners
• Strong interest in and ability to adjust to a new culture where the way of life requires sensitivity, understanding, conformity, and flexibility

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience teaching and/or experience living in another culture
• Peace Corps or other humanitarian volunteer/service/work experience
• Background in English for Specific Purposes Experience in teacher training and STEAM, and familiarity with IB or AP curricula (for the MKSGT program)
• Fluency in other languages
• Current residency in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama

Requirements

No experience is required, and all majors are accepted. To qualify, you must:

• Be a native English speaker.
• Hold a valid passport from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. (visa requirement)
• Possess an apostilled copy of original bachelor degree from an accredited university in one of the seven recognized English-speaking countries listed above.
• Obtain a national criminal background check with an Apostille.
• TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certifications are preferred
• Any degree welcome, but preference given to Education and English majors
• Do not need to speak Korean
• Proof documents will be requested during the official process
